- AED 100 is charged for postponement of instalment for individuals
- AED 200 is charged for postponement of instalment for companies/institutions
- The first instalment can be paid after 30 days of the scheme start date

Ajman Traffic Fine Discount – November 2022 – January 2023:
Latest update September 2023- 50% Discounts on fines announced in Sharjah
Penalties are announced for the next 3 months for breaching the traffic rules. The scheme was directed by Sharjah Executive Council in an effort to reduce the financial burden on the public.
Sharjah Municipality will offer a 50% discount on all fines which are issued to the public & business for the next 3 months.
The financial penalties which are imposed prior to September 5, will be eligible for reducing if payment is done by December 3.
Latest Update: 50% traffic fine discount announced in Ajman
This reduction in traffic fines is applicable on violations which are committed before 10th November 2022. The Ajman Police have announced 50% discount on fines and this is applicable from 21 November 2022 till 6th January 2023. This reduction is applicable to all kinds of traffic violations.

Sharjah Traffic Fine Discount – March 2023:
Latest Update: Sharjah announced an up to 35% discount on traffic fines – Starting from April 1st, 2023.
A discount of 35% is available for drivers who pay their fines within 60 days from the date of committing the violation in Sharjah. This discount is applicable for the fine amount as well as the penalty of impoundment.
If you pay a traffic fine payment after 60 days from the date of violation, get a 25% discount on the fine amount. If any impoundment penalty you have to pay separately.
After one year of violation no discounts are applicable.
December 2022 – January 2023: 50% traffic fine discount announced in Sharjah -The police of Sharjah have announced a 50% discount scheme on traffic fines and the discount would be valid from 1st December 2022 to 20th January 2023 on the occasion of the 51st National Day celebrations. All the black points will be canceled and This reduction offer is not applicable to serious traffic violations.
This reduction in traffic fines is applicable to violations that are committed before 1st December 2022.

The police of Ras Al Khaimah also announced 50% OFF on traffic fine discounts as a part of UAE Silver Jubilee celebrations. This discount is limited till January 17, 2022.
Dubai traffic fines discount: May 2019 – February 2020
Motorists can get up to 100% discount on the fines. The discount provided varies with the driver’s profile and how well they are following the traffic rules for the next 12 months in Dubai. (Offer from 2019-2020)
- Following traffic rules for the next 12 months – 100% discount
- Following traffic rules for the next 9 months – 75% discount
- Following traffic rules for the next 6 months – 50% discount
- Following traffic rules for the next 3 months – 25% discount
