Dubai ID is the initiative of Dubai Smart Government(DSG) that provides easy access to the government services. The concept of Dubai ID was launched in 2015 with an idea of smart government. UAE Residents with a valid Emirates ID can get access to Dubai MyID portal. UAE Residents can utilize all the government services online from anywhere in the world. It can be accessed through phone or any other smart device. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration to Dubai ID<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Users can register for Dubai ID online by filling the form on <\/span>myid.dubai.gov.ae\/Registration<\/span><\/a>. Enter your Emirates ID number and proceed accordingly. Emirates ID is a card that has all the details about the cardholder and this will make the Dubai ID registration process simple. Make sure you have Emirates ID card reader attached to the device.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another way to register for Dubai ID is by visiting the kiosk locations. There are 30 kiosks available all over Dubai. Residents can visit any of the kiosk and register themselves for Dubai ID. Here\u2019s the list of kiosk locations <\/span>myid.dubai.gov.ae\/KiosksLocations<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prerequisites for the online registration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Emirates ID, Emirates ID Card reader, Emirates ID pin number. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates ID:<\/strong> Only UAE Residents with valid Emirates ID are eligible to avail Dubai MyID services. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates ID card reader:<\/strong> Emirates ID Card reader can be bought online or from any <\/span>Emirates Identity Authority (<\/span>EIDA) centers. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates ID pin number:<\/strong> Emirates ID pin number can be known by using \u201cReset PIN\u201d option in <\/span>myid.dubai.gov.ae<\/span><\/a> or by visiting any EIDA centers.  <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use of Dubai ID<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Even though all the government services have websites of their own, when an user visits the websites he has to register\/login with their respective unique id and password intended for that page. To make this complicated process easier for the residents, Dubai ID was initiated. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dubai ID users can use their MyID credentials to access other government portals. More than 1500 entities can be accessed using MyID Dubai credentials. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • RTA<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    • Dubai Electricity & Water Department <\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      • Dubai Police <\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
        • Dubai Health Authority<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          • Dubai Courts<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            • National bonds, Dubai<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
              • Department of Economic Development <\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
                • Smart Dubai Gov<\/span><\/li>
                • Dubai Land Department and many more <\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
