However, residents of other GCC like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman are not eligible. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>How to claim Tax refund in Dubai and UAE?<\/strong> <\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While making a purchase anywhere in the UAE, you can ask the retailer to provide a tax free tag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The retailer will e<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nter your information in the Digital TAX refund system claiming for VAT refund<\/span><\/li><li>They will provide the tourist with a TAX free tag <\/li><li>At the validation point, you can get the claim validated while leaving the UAE.   <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FTA(Federal Tax Authority) has partnered with global taxation organization called \u201cPlanet\u201d. There would be \u201cPlanet Payment\u201d outlets available at international airports all over UAE will act as the validation points. Assuming you have selected the &#8220;card&#8221; option <\/li><li>Paid &#8211; After your refund is credited on your card<\/li><li>Cancelled &#8211; Your tax-free tag has been cancelled. In such cases, you can contact customer support to know the reason for cancellation.  <\/li><li>Declined &#8211; Your refund has been declined.
