With the current developments made the UAE government, expats need not leave the country. This will be informed to you via text message given on the application. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also download GDRFA Dubai app and renew your Visa. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from the online options, residents can visit approved <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ica.gov.ae\/en\/emirates-id-centers\/typing-centers.aspx\" target=\"blanck\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">typing centers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/amer.gdrfad.gov.ae\/contact\" target=\"blanck\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Amer service centers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and get their visa renewal process done. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Documents required for UAE Residence Visa renewal<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Residence Visa renewal application form with valid details and signatures<\/li>\n<li>2 photographs of the applicant<\/li>\n<li>Applicant\u2019s entry permit(original)<\/li>\n<li>Valid passport(original and copy)<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor\u2019s passport copy<\/li>\n<li>Tenancy contract<\/li>\n<li>Utility bills.<\/li>\n<li>Medical certificate(if the applicant is above 18yrs)<\/li>\n<li>Insurance card(mandatory for Dubai and Abu Dhabi residents)<\/li>\n<li>For private sector individuals- Copies of Firm card, Labor card, Trade license.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Fees on UAE visa renewal<\/strong>: <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are some fees and charges levied on getting your UAE Visa renewed. AED 200 is charged in order to get your UAE residence visa renewed. The typing centers may charge some additional amount for the service. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the process of UAE visa renewal can take up to 2 weeks, it is recommended to start your renewal process at least a month before of expiration. There are fines on renewing the visa after expiration. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is a grace period of 30 days is provided after the expiration of the visa. So the fines start after the grace period <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AED 25 is charged per day for the first 180 days i.e 6 months<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AED 50 is charged per day for the next 180 days<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a year AED 100 is charged per day <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to check UAE Visa status? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants can visit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/echannels.ica.gov.ae\/echannels\/web\/client\/default.html#\/applicationTracking\" target=\"blanck\" rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"broken_link\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/echannels.ica.gov.ae\/echannels\/web\/client\/default.html#\/applicationTracking<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and can check UAE visa online. All you need to give is the request number present on your application. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>UAE Visa is one of the mandatory documents in UAE for expats. None of the banks in UAE provide any loans, credit cards, accounts or any other financial assistance without a UAE Visa.
