Labor contract can be checked through the official website and also through the mobile app. Here in this article we are providing details about checking labor contracts through the MoHRE website and also through the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checking the Labor contract status through MoHRE website<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workers in UAE who have applied for a new labor card or got it renewed, can check the status of the card in MoHRE website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps to check Labor Contract Status<\/strong>:
<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:
<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Head over to MoHRE<\/a> website. You will have a list of eNetwasal services<\/a> displayed. You can also look for employee services present on the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Step 2:
<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Click on the type of service that is required for the employee. For employment contract Click on the \u201cLabor Contract\u201d.

Step 3:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It will ask if you have a labor card or not. If you already have a labor card choose \u2018yes\u2019 else choose \u2018no\u2019.

Step 4:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

New workers who don\u2019t have a labor card yet can choose \u201cNo\u201d. If you choose \u2018no\u2019, then you will have to provide details like passport number, date of birth, nationality and mobile no. Click on \u2018next\u2019.

Step 5:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You will get the current status of your labor card whether it is under processing or completed. If the status shows completed, then you can take a print of that document.

Step 6:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Submit the printed document at Tasheel Center in order to get your printed Labor Contract.

Step 7:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For the workers who are already having a labor card and looking for further details can choose \u201cYes\u201d (in step 3) and click on ‘next’.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 8:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Provide details like labor card no. ( it\u2019s an 8 digit number termed as work permit number on the labor card), person code (it\u2019s a 14 digit personal number present on the labor card), year of birth and nationality. Click on \u2018next\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 9: <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You will be directed to the screen which consists of details like company name, your name, company code, contract copy, designation, passport number, labor card number, passport expiry date, transaction number, type of labor card, issue date of the labor contract, expiry date of the labor contract and nationality.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Labor card is a mandatory identity proof for the expat workers in the UAE. MoHRE makes it easy for them to find the status of their new labor card or details of the existing one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checking the Labor contract status through mobile app<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now that you already know how to check the status of your labor contract through the website, here the Ministry of Labor has made it simple to check the status using a smartphone app for android and Apple users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Install MOL app on your smartphone iphone or android<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 2:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the mobile app is installed you can open the MOL app. It is a great thing to note that MOL has provided services for both the employees and employers. The Employers can use the app for requesting a host of services like establishing card services, inspection, verification, pre- approval of work permit service, work permit services, outstanding transactions, Labor relation services and so on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app will not provide you with a complete contract agreement but you can download it online. You will be able to get details about the labor card, labor card issue date, labor card expiration date, type of labor card, labor contract start date and end date, your official designation, basic salary, allowances and other details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you click on the employee services you get detailed information. Here click on my contract to view your labor contract details on smart phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 4:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you select my contract you will be asked to enter your passport number, Date of birth, nationality. Enter correct details because if you enter wrong information no data will be displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step-5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all your information gets validated, you will be able to view your labor contract details on the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have noticed any variation in your details like mismatch in your salary details then you should contact your company and complain regarding the discrepancy. If the company does not address the issue then you must file complaint with Ministry of Labor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
