In the UAE, the certificate of insurance is given by the insurance company or the insurance broker. The certificate of insurance gives details about the policyholder name, policy effective date, insurance cover, limits on the policy and other primary policy details.

• Click on this link to verify the certificate https://ia.gov.ae/en/services/verify-certificate#
• A web page will pop up and it will prompt you to enter the Certificate ID. The certificate Id will start with LR-XXXX-XXXXXX. Once you enter the insurance certificate ID, confirm that you are not a robot and click on the search option. 
• The certificate will appear on the screen and you can download the certificate of insurance by clicking on the download option provided on the screen.
