The e-Dirham G2 system now supports additional payment methods besides credit and prepaid cards. If you are looking for an e-payment card and a facility for payment collection service fee then the government has brought an E-Dirham card in the UAE.
A joint venture between the Ministry of Finance and First Abu Dhabi Bank has brought a latest e-Dirham car which is also known as e-dirham G2 card. Providing a range of safety features and transparency with the e-payment system this card provides services for government and non government facilities.
Red Al Haslah Card
Here is some important information regarding the Red Al Haslah Card, also known as the e-Dirham red card. This card is specifically designed for use with e-Dirham G2 services and at participating merchants. This is a non-co-branded card.
For your reference, the Red Al Haslah Card is valid for one year from the initial loading date. It utilizes a magnetic stripe for transactions and is available in both registered and unregistered formats. The registered version of the card has a maximum balance limit of AED 50,000.
The purchase price for the item is AED 6. This product is currently available for purchase at all First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) branches located throughout the United Arab Emirates.
E-Dirham G2 Al Haslah Cards
Al Haslah provides a variety of prepaid e-Dirham cards, each designed with different features to cater to diverse financial requirements.
The primary distinctions among these cards lie in their load limits, maximum account balances, registration processes, and where they are accepted for payments. To illustrate, the Blue Al Haslah Visa card offers worldwide acceptance, whereas the Red Al Haslah card is specifically for use within the e-Dirham G2 network. The cards can be loaded through the following ways.
- e-Dirham channels
- FAB branches
- E-dirham G2 ATMs and CDMs
Silver Al Haslah Card
Regarding the e-Dirham silver card, which is Visa co-branded, registration is necessary, and the maximum balance is AED 2 million. The card can be obtained from any First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) branch for a fee of AED 30 and will be ready for collection within five working days after registration and document submission.
All Al Haslah cards can be recharged. The recharge service charges are AED 8 at FAB branches, AED 4 across other distribution channels, and AED 2 at e-Dirham G2 Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs)/Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and FAB CDMs/ATMs.
You cannot withdraw cash for Gold Al Haslah and Silver Al Haslah Cards and other corporate cards.
Gold Al Haslah Card
To acquire a Gold Al Haslah Card, you are required to complete the registration process. The purchase price for the card is AED 25. Once you register, it will be issued within 5 working days.
Purchase the card through the e-Dirham G2 website or at any FAB branch. You can also pick up the card at a FAB branch, or have it delivered by courier, though courier delivery is subject to additional fees.

Green Al Haslah Card
The Green Al Haslah Card is a Visa co-branded e-Dirham card that will remain valid for a period of three years and will be issued with the cardholder’s name printed on it.
Registration is mandatory to get a Green Al Haslah Card. During the registration process, you will also have the option to include a personal photograph on your card. Furthermore, this card is accepted at all Visa merchants worldwide and has a maximum allowable balance of AED 50,000.
The purchase price is AED 27. It will be issued within five working days from the registration date, provided all necessary documents are correctly submitted.

- Simply visit the e-Dirham G2 website and enter your personal details as required.
Following this, you will be prompted to specify a preferred time and location for the delivery of your card. Once you have entered this information, submit your application. The documents can be downloaded from the official website.
Using E- Dirham Card
After you get an e-Dirham card from a partner bank as previously instructed. You can download and register on the eDirham Instant app.
Account creation does not require a physical card. The mobile application can be used if you haven’t received your card. Contact your bank to facilitate registration.
