How to take loan in du?

du is one of the finest networks in UAE. It provides a wide range of offers to its customers. One of the best facilities provided by du is a loan credit. du customers need not worry about the low balance anymore since, du credit loan helps them in getting a credit of AED 5 for quick talks until the next recharge.

How to take loan in du?

Dail *108#, follow the steps or send an SMS to 1080 and get AED 5 automatically credited to your phone balance.

du provides two options “One Off” and “Auto Out of Credit”. Only du UAE customers can avail loan credit facility.

One Off – can borrow credit on requirement through call or SMS

Send an SMS, “5” to 1080 from your du mobile number OR 

  • Dial *108#
  • Press 1
  • AED 5 will be credited

Auto Out of Credit – Whenever there is low talktime balance i.e below AED 1, your account will be automatically credited with AED 5. To activate this facility dial *108# and press 2 or SMS “AUTO ON” to 1080. To deactivate the “Auto out of credit” SMS “AUTO OFF” to 1080.

Fees on du credit loan

Once the account is credited with loan amount, AED 1 + 5% VAT is charged as fees on the loan credit. The fees amount is deducted from your next recharge amount.

A mobile number once opted for loan credit cannot apply again until the due is cleared. You can check your balance by sending “BALANCE” to 1080.

To avail loan from du, the user needs to be a du customer for the past 3 months and have used minimum AED 10 per month on calls, SMS, etc.
