Mparking in Dubai – How it works?

RTA(Road Transport Authority) of Dubai made parking easy for the drivers in UAE by initiating Mparking in Dubai. Mparking is a service where the drivers in UAE can pay their parking fees through an SMS or app instead of searching for parking meters or coins.

Working of Mparking in Dubai via SMS

For non-registered users-

Only Dubai number plates are eligible for this procedure without registration.

Mparking service works with an SMS. Once you’ve parked your car, send an SMS to 7275 in a specified format. You will get a confirmation message about your parking fees. Mparking service deducts money from your Etisalat or Du phone credit.

Here’s the format of the SMS that needs to be sent-

“<Car Plate No.>space<Zone no.>space<Duration>” to 7275(PARK)

Example-

A5005 123B 2 to 7275

After the SMS is sent you will receive a confirmation message about the parking details. By the end of the duration, you would receive a reminder message which provides an option to extend the parking duration.

Mparking registration can be done on their portal.

Mparking mobile application
